“Marching Angels” for Early Intermediate Level
This is a simple and light song. It is like a peaceful march with angels. There is no noise, or arguments, like here on earth. Everything is just very purified with love and hope, grace and joy. It is a taste of walking on the streets of heaven. Everything is so exciting and surprising. We can discover all the beautiful things that were described in the bible. For instance, we can discover the golden gates, golden streets and pearls, etc. But most of all, we can discover the forever living river and the living trees for us who have believed.
This piece should be played at a walking speed. Be sure not to play fast or heavy.
The RH leger line notes are a little advanced for the students in Intermediate level.
The LH is moving by positions. Have students hold the LH in a 5th position all the way through. They should just either focus on their thumb or pinkie’s movement.
